Wow! The city really shuts down when Jewish people celebrate. I think it's pretty cool. I'm from the Midwest (really I'm from the Plains). So, to me, the idea of the whole city shutting down over a holiday...well, it's kind of exotic. I hear Klezmer music playing in my imagination. Oh, how I love the clarinet. Accordion music makes me glow. I have been accused of being a Jew-o-phile but I just chalk it up to good taste.
